On September 23rd the Sun, Moon, Virgo and Leo will align as described in Revelation 12:1-2. As mentioned at the beginning of this article, the exact thing being described in Revelation 12 will occur on Sept. No agnostic or atheist can deny this event because it will happen in the heavens just as prophesied.

There are ALWAYS 12 stars above Virgo’s head, in the 9 stars of Leo and the 3 stars of the constellation Coma Berenices, which is named ‘diadem‘, the crown. This means that it’s not a one-time event.

The star named Spica does not mark Virgo’s left hip, it marks the wheat in her left hand; so Jupiter NEVER enters her body, but only passes through her left arm. This means that Jupiter is not in her womb for 42 weeks, nor is it birthed out of her.

Friend, as much as we want Messiah to return this September, this supposed fulfillment of Revelation 12 is a grand deception from the enemy, which may be designed to cause great disappointment after the rapture doesn’t happen; or worse, that the enemy would stage a fake rapture scenario, to make people believe that they’ve been Left Behind!

There are many YouTube videos about the September 23, 2017, Revelation 12 sign in the heavens. And they all have the same basic explanation:

That the description in Revelation 12:1 will be seen in the heavens on only one day, September, 23, 2017.

That the 9 stars of Leo and the 3 planets (Mercury, Mars and Venus), called wandering stars, create this unique alignment.

That the planet Jupiter appears in Virgo’s body for 42 weeks, and then is birthed out just before 09-23-17.

That the sun is above her, clothing her; and that the moon is at her feet.

And if you watch their videos, their points seem pretty convincing.

So like anything, I’ve researched what they are saying, to see if what they are proclaiming is true. And what I’ve found is causing concern in my heart, because some of the points that they are making, don’t line up.

Though most people aren’t outright proclaiming that it points to Messiah’s return, as to not be accused of setting a date, or being called a false prophet if it doesn’t happen; their explanations are pointing to 09-23-17 as the date of the return of Messiah; so expectations from Christians is already peaking.

Go to YouTube and search “Revelation 12 September 23, 2017 sign” and you will see many videos about this topic; including one from Robert Breaker that was published about 6 months ago, which has 4.8 million views. People are searching for truth on this topic, and sadly, they are being misled by these false prophecy fulfillment teachers.

This Revelation12Ministries website is totally dedicated to teaching how Messiah is returning on 09-23-17. Here is their intro video.

Of course it’s true that Mercury, Mars and Venus will appear above Virgo’s head; that Jupiter will retrograde on the side of Virgo for about 42 weeks; that the Sun will be above her head; and the moon at her feet.

But the explanations that people are giving, stating that this is a ‘once in 7000 years’ event; are misleading.

And more importantly, their explanation of prophecy fulfillment, based on this supposed sign; are false.

Let’s start with the sign itself, and then we’ll look at the prophetic associations.

“And a great sign was seen in the heaven: a woman clad with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.” Revelation 12:1

I’ve watched a lot of videos about the sign, and have done quite a bit of research about the constellations; and here is what I found about the alignment of the constellations and planets, on 09-23-17.

The crown of 12 stars that adorn Virgo’s head, does not point to a one-time event on September 23, 2017.

It’s pointing to the two constellations which are above her head; Leo, which has nine stars; and Coma Berenices, which has three stars.

In John’s day, the three stars of Coma Berenices were considered to be an asterism in the constellation Leo, representing the tuft at the end of the lion’s tail.

It was not until the 16th century that Coma Berenices was promoted to a constellation in its own right.

Coma Berenices means ‘diadem‘ or ‘crown‘!

Comae is derived from the Greek word diádema, which means ‘band’. It has three stars that are viewable with the naked eye; Alpha Comae Berenices, Beta Comae Berenices and Gamma Comae Berenices; which form a 45 degree triangle.

The 2nd brightest star, Beta Comae Berenices, is called diadem, a crown.

So Virgo always has a crown of 12 stars above her head, which invalidates that the three planets fulfill the Revelation 12 sign.

Having the three planets in Leo is interesting; but they appear on the ecliptic near Virgo in the fall, on a regular basis, so it’s not rare.

Stars in prophecy point to leaders; so the 12 stars which adorn Virgo, represent the 12 Apostles who are the foundation of the Early Church (the woman).

Revelation 4:4 points to the 12 disciples having 12 crowns. The other 12 elders are most likely from the twelve tribes of Israel.

And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

People are saying that the planet Jupiter appears inside of Virgo’s body for 42 weeks, mimicking a human birth; but the truth is the Jupiter never enters her body.

The problem is that the enemy has corrupted the signs, and the star called Spica is meant to represent the sprig of “seeded” wheat in her left hand; not her left hip.

Stellarium indirectly shows you the truth, as the artistic body is above the ecliptic, and you can see that Jupiter travels at her side and never enters the outline of her body.

Since Jupiter appears on the ecliptic, which is by her side, Jupiter is never in her womb; as you can see in this more accurate rendering of Virgo.

Subilon, means ‘ear of wheat.’ The wheat represents her seed, which is Messiah’s saints.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.” John 12:24

The wheat represents the harvest of Messiah’s kingdom, the Early Church; which had explosive growth during the reign of the powerful Roman Empire.

The brightest star, Spica, means ‘the branch’.

“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land.” Jeremiah 23:5

The sun is in Virgo every fall, so it’s not a unique event.

The Sun in Revelation 12 symbolizes the Son, our Messiah, who clothes His bride in righteousness. Malachi 4:2, in pointing to the promised Messiah, declares:

“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”

The moon is at Virgo’s feet every fall, so it’s not a unique event.

The moon being at her feet may represent the saints victory over the persecuting Jews and/or the Roman Empire.

Satan used the Jewish leaders and the Roman Emperors, to try to wipe out the Early Church; but she prevailed by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony.

People are proclaiming that this sign is the fulfillment of Revelation 12, but that is deceiving.

Revelation is a coded war-manual, which has four basic layers which describe events that take place from when it was written, until Messiah returns.

When the layers are overlaid on top of each other, the full explanation can be seen.

The basic layer is given in Revelation 12-13. It describes the fourth beast of Daniel, the Roman beast.

Revelation 12 describes Satan using the pagan Roman Empire (red dragon, the fierce dreadful beast of Daniel 7) to try to wipe out the Early Church (the woman).

The Early Church was born out of much persecution and pain, as the saints were killed in the coliseums by lions and gladiators; and over 10 million saints were killed during 10 Roman persecution periods.

The Apostles and Early Church wrote and collected the New Testament Scriptures, the ‘rod of iron‘ with which they discern truth and battle the enemy, even though the enemy sought to wipe it out.

But the Early Church prevailed, as it continued to grow; while the Roman Empire declined and fell.

Revelation 12:3 points to the Satan-empowered Roman Empire, which he used to try to wipe out the Early Church (the woman).

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Revelation 12:3

You can see this in the nearby constellation of Hercules and the 7-headed Hydra; and the Corona borealis, which is a crown that has 7 stars.

This is pointing to the Satan-empowered Roman Empire, which had 7 forms of government, as described in Revelation 17. The 6th head, the Roman Emperors were used to persecute the Early Church, killing 10 million saints.

When the last Western Roman Emperor was removed from power in 476 A.D, the Empire split into 10 civil kingdoms (10 horns).

Many of the people who are posting videos about the Revelation 12 September 23, 2017 sign; are teaching the following prophecy fulfillment explanations:

That the sign points to a pre-trib rapture of the saints.

That it marks the beginning of the 7-year tribulation period.

That the one-man antichrist will rise to power during this time, and then take control of the rebuilt temple at the midpoint, and proclaim to be god.

That most of Revelation will be fulfilled during the last 3 1/2 years of Great Tribulation.

And sadly, that is all a deception from the enemy!!!

A future 70th week of Daniel, aka the 7-year tribulation period, is not Scriptural.

The concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel is a deception from the Jesuits of Rome, who created it to deflect blame away from the Popes, as the Protestant Reformers had rightly identified them as the Son of Perdition and the antichrist beast.

The 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, after the 69th week; when Messiah and His disciples confirmed with the Jews that He is the promised Messiah who ratified the everlasting covenant with His blood, as the Passover Lamb.

The seven years ended after the Jewish leaders stoned Stephen to death, marking their final rejection of their promised Messiah. Then the book of Acts clearly shows a dramatic shift, as the Gospel was also preached to the Gentile nations, especially by the Apostle Paul.

The 70 weeks were fulfilled on time, in 70 prophetic weeks. There is no time gap between the 69th and 70th week. The concept of a futuristic 7-year tribulation period is a deception from the enemy. Read The 70th Week Of Daniel Deception

There is no Scriptural justification for an Israel peace agreement by an end-times antichrist.

The 70 weeks of Daniel prophecy was about the Jews being released from Babylonian captivity, to be empowered to go rebuilt the city and temple, and to prepare for their promised Messiah. It is not about the end times.

It declares that Messiah would appear AFTER the 69th week, meaning in the 70th week. He was anointed at His baptism in 27 A.D., and He died 3 1/2 years later on Passover, 31 A.D.; fulfilling that halfway through the seven years, He would make an end of the need for sin offerings in the temple, as He was the one-time sacrifice. The temple curtain being torn in two at His death validated this truth.

The ‘covenant’ that is mentioned in Daniel 9:27 is the everlasting covenant that Messiah ratified with His blood as the Passover Lamb.

It was confirmed with the Jews for seven years, that He is the promised Messiah. Then it was also preached to the Gentile nations.

So it’s not an end-times antichrist peace agreement, it’s the everlasting covenant that was confirmed to the Jew first, for seven years. Read The Covenant Of The 70th Week

Note: The enemy is going to play out their false script, so they will seek to rebuild the temple, and they will create an Israel peace agreement; but those things are deceptions, as there is no Scriptural justification for them.

The third temple is already being built. Messiah is the cornerstone, the Apostles are the foundation, and the saints are the little stones which make up the walls. This is the temple that is made without hands.

There is no Scriptural justification for a pre-trib rapture.

Because the concept of a future 70th week of Daniel is a deception, there is no Scriptural justification for a future 7-year tribulation period; which means that the pre-trib position has no place.

In John 6:40, 44 and 54, Messiah repeatedly tells us that He will raise up the dead at the last day.

“And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

“Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

He proclaimed in the 6th bowl of Revelation that He will return would return as a thief in the night.

By that, He is proclaiming that He is not returning until after the 6th bowl; which means that the seals, trumpets and bowls, are all fulfilled before He returns.

The good news is that we are in the middle of the 6th bowl, and Messiah’s return draws nigh.

Yes, I know, this is contrary to what our Pastors have taught us, but it’s what the saints believed up until the 20th century; until the Jesuit’s futuristic prophecy fulfillment explanations took hold.

The seal judgments caused the decline of the pagan Roman Empire; due to bloody civil wars (red), economic collapse (black) and famine and pestilence (pale).

The trumpet judgments represented army after army attacking the Roman Empire.

The 4th Trumpet represented the last Western Roman Emperor being removed from power in 476 A.D.; and ultimately the fall of the Western Roman Empire.

The 5th Trumpet of Revelation represented the rise of Mohammed and the Islamic army, who attacked the Roman Empire.

The 6th Trumpet of Revelation represented the Turks being released from the River Euphrates, to go attack the Eastern Roman Empire.

The first four bowl judgments represent the judgment of the Popes and Roman Catholic Church; during the French Revolution and the bloody Napoleonic Wars; as vengeance was poured out on the people who persecuted the saints.

The 5th bowl judgment of Revelation represents the antichrist Pope being removed from power in 1798 A.D.

The first part of the 6th bowl of Revelation represents the drying up of the great Ottoman Empire, as they lost control of the vast territories that they possessed, and were only left with Turkey.

This led to the kingdoms of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan and Syria (the kings of the East) being founded in the early 20th century.

We are in the midst of the 6th bowl, waiting on WW III, which will most likely be between the Kings of the East and Israel; probably a worldwide financial collapse; and then the One World Government of the 7th bowl.

I believe that Messiah won’t return until the One World Government is completed, as it allows time for the antichrist Pope and false prophet Jesuit General, to demand that everyone revere (worship, mark on forehead) and obey (mark on right hand, actions) the antichrist beast Pope.

Messiah said that He is returning as a thief, and for most Christians, who are following the false prophecy fulfillment narrative of the enemy; the way the end times plays out will catch them off-guard, as the unwise virgins, who won’t have the oil of truth in their lamps.

p.s. What’s amazing to me is all the hype about the supposed star/planet alignment on 09-23-17; but people ignore the true story that the constellations are proclaiming.

The great plan of redemption was told through the stars, long before written records were in place. It is defined with star groups and the names of individual stars.

The heavens (Mazzaroth) are proclaiming the esteem of Ěl; And the expanse is declaring the work of His hand. Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, and there are no words, Their voice is not heard. Their line (ecliptic) has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He set up a tent for the sun (picture of Yahusha, the Sun of Righteousness, Malachi 4:2), And it is like a bridegroom coming out of his room, It rejoices like a strong man to run the path. Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end; And naught is hidden from its heat. Psalms 19:1-6

In Isaiah 40, YHUH told Isaiah to look up at His Mazzaroth in the heavens, which declare His redemption plan:

Did you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in, Lift up your eyes on high and see. Who has created these? He who is bringing out their host by number, He calls them all by name, by the greatness of His might and the strength of His power – not one is missing.

The enemy has caused us to not understand that the constellations all point to Messiah our Redeemer:

  • Aries represents glory out of humiliation, Messiah the Crowned Lamb.
  • Taurus represents His glorious coming, Messiah the Judge.
  • Gemini represents His rule on Earth, Messiah the King.
  • Cancer represents His possessions held secure, Messiah the Protector.
  • Leo represents His enemies destroyed, Messiah the Victor.

The question is: Does the chapter flash back to Jesus’ birth or just to the rapture? I have always thought that it was describing Jesus’ birth, since it says, “She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” (Rev 12:3) Of course, that corresponds perfectly to Jesus’ description during Armageddon, “Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter.” (Rev 19:15) The reference to an iron scepter even goes back farther to Psalms 2:4-9, which is clearly talking about Jesus. Thus, I think Revelation 12 is simply a flashback to address some things that happened with Satan, when Jesus was born, which are not addressed elsewhere, and serve as an bridge to Satan’s actions supporting the beast, during end times, in Revelation 13. Note: There was a lot of publicity surrounding the ‘Revelation 12 sign’, leading up to September 24, 2017, which was an alignment of planets above the constellation Virgo, along with certain placements of the sun, moon, and Jupiter, which Scottie Clark discovered and interpreted as ‘the sign’ in Rev 12:1. He also interpreted the “snatching up” of the male child (v.5) as the rapture, which naturally had everyone excited. He gave some logical arguments for why it could symbolically represent the rapture, so I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. After all, I want the rapture to happen, the sooner the better, but since it has been almost 3-years since the sign passed, and the rapture hasn’t happened, I’m inclined to return to my original belief that Revelation 12 is describing Jesus’ birth. Of course, that leaves the following verse to explain. Revelation 12:5-6She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days. In my opinion, I tend to think that the “snatching up” was more ‘spiritual’ than physical. It could be compared to Paul being “caught up to the third heaven,” where he didn’t know if it was “in the body or out of the body.” (2 Cor 12:2) John also visited heaven, when God told him, “Come up here,” but John says the trip took place “in the Spirit.” (Rev 4:1-2) Likewise, I think Jesus was ‘snatched up in the Spirit,’ when He was born. How long? I don’t know, but His human body went along with His parents to Egypt for 1260-days, as the verse says. Note: That’s one piece of information that Revelation 12 adds, which is not told elsewhere, because Matthew’s gospel just says they escaped to Egypt, and after Herod’s death, they returned to Nazareth. (Matt 2:13-23) The gospels never say how long Jesus was there, but we can tell from Rev 12 that Jesus was 3.5 years old when He returned. Some other information that Rev 12 adds is the whereabouts of Satan, during the last 2000-years, since the last we heard about him was from the temptation of Christ, after Jesus was baptized. (Matt 4:1-11) We know that Satan, and many angels with him, were cast from heaven, after the Garden of Eden, for rebelling against God. However, the Book of Job describes Satan as remaining free to visit heaven and talk to God. (Job 1:6-7) According to Rev 12, that did not remain the case because there was “a war in heaven,” when Jesus was born, and Satan and his angels were “hurled to earth.” (Rev 12:7-9) Plus, there’s obviously a lot of symbolism in Revelation 12, from which we can make certain assumptions. Revelation 12:4 “His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.” From this verse, I gather that Satan was paying close attention to Jesus’ birth, which is probably why Jesus was snatched up for safety. Satan could have literally been watching the birth, or the verse could refer symbolically to Herod’s desire to kill Jesus. Also, a ‘star’ can refer to an ‘angel’, as in Rev 9:1, so “a third of the stars” could indicate that a ‘third of the total angels’ followed Satan and rebelled against God, which seems like a lot to me. Of course, those angels were later bound with chains, and still await judgement. (Jude 1:6) Of course, I can’t explain every verse of Revelation. Some things must remain a theory, with no way to prove one way or the other. Verses 15-16 (below) is one example of that. Revelation 12:13-1713 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach. 15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring-those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus. Obviously, verses 13-14 (above) repeat the family’s flight to Egypt for 3.5 years, which was “out of the serpent’s reach,” but that doesn’t mean Satan stopped trying. It seems to me that verses 15-16 could describe a real flood, which Satan intended to devour the family, but God miraculously opened the earth to “swallow” the flood waters. That would not be unprecedented because God had the earth ‘open up and swallow’ the three opponents of Moses, including their families and followers, and then close again. (Numbers 16:31-33) After that, verse 17 indicates that Satan turned his attention to the ‘followers of Jesus’, who are referred to as “her offspring,” probably because most of the early followers were Jews, although it generally means all Christians. Revelation 12:12But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.' Note: The fact that Satan was cast to earth and restricted, following Jesus’ birth, accounts for Seals 1-6 being referred to as the “great tribulation” (Rev 7:14), since Christianity actually started with the resurrection (Seal 1). Seals 1-6 extend from the resurrection to the rapture, which is the only time Christians could have their ‘robes washed in the blood of the Lamb’, as Rev 7:14 says (in past tense). In other words, Satan’s activity in the world got progressively worse, during the last 2000-years, and is growing exponentially as the rapture gets closer. In fact, I think we are in the “hour of trial,” just before the rapture, when things are at their worse. God’s command is to “endure patiently” and we will be shielded from the worse of it. (Rev 3:10) Matthew 24:12-13“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” Praise Jesus!
